Supervision
Dear Family Counseling, PLLC offers supervision to interns and associate-level licensed therapists. Supervision allows me to impart the knowledge and skills that I have acquired over the years to the next generation of therapists.
My Approach
Congratulations, you’ve reached the next level of your journey to independent licensure. I am honored that you have selected me as your clinical supervisor, and I look forward to walking alongside you in the coming months. Supervision is a unique relationship in which I will embody various roles – everything from mentor to professional evaluator. All of these roles will shift according to your needs for growth and development, which we will discuss in supervision as time progresses.
Becoming an AAMFT-approved supervisor has always been on my trajectory for career goals. After over 15 years, I have solidified myself as a Marriage and Family therapist, I want to impart the knowledge and wisdom to others. I want to give back to the field what has been given to me. I have not always had the best supervisory experiences, but those experiences molded and shaped my thought process of what a good supervisor should be. I've also had great experiences that have motivated me to be in the position that I am in now. I'm ready to be of service to you!
